The Pronoun Project celebrates how pedagogy can breathe new life into gender neutral language. As part of their ongoing work, local artist and Bachelor of Education student, Hill Werth sets forth to showcase pronouns beyond the binary. Extending from this activist-based exhibition, Hill will also lead free public programs that embody common themes of queer and trans education, presence, and affirmation.

Visit Hill Werth's solo exhibition The Pronoun Project, on our Feature Wall from March 5 – May 11, 2024.

Mixed Media Workshop

TWO SESSIONS: March 6 + March 14, 6pm

Led by local and exhibiting artist Hill Werth, this hands-on workshop is an exploration of mixed media on wood panels. This is an ideal workshop for experimenting with a range of artmaking materials and techniques, and a playful way to combine fundamental art mediums in new and exciting ways.

Open Studio

March 16, 1-3pm

Join local artist Hill Werth for Open Studio, a low-pressure, social event, where you are welcome to bring in new or unfinished projects to work on. Meet new maker pals, bring along your best crafting buddy, and embrace your imagination!

Pride Creativity Club

March 20, 6pm

In this special edition of Pride Creativity Club, we are inviting 2SLGBTQIA+ folks to join us at Union Gallery instead of Kingston School of Art. You’ll be invited to make your very own pronoun button and connect with others in this safe space. Artist Hill Werth will be there to offer guidance and encouragement. Pride Creativity Club is free, materials are provided, and no prior artistic experience is necessary!
