Where are you located?

We are located at 101 University Avenue, Kingston, Ontario. If you enter the Stauffer Library building, our entrance is in the lobby near the corner of Alfred Street and Union Street. Click this link to see a map.

When are you open?

We are open on Tuesday and Thursday-Saturday from 11-4:30pm. We are open 11-8pm on Wednesday. We are open during these hours for public viewing unless we are installing or taking down an exhibition. Please check the website for exhibition dates.

Is it free to visit?

Yes, it is free to visit the Union Gallery. We also accept donations.

Who can exhibit at the Union Gallery?

Student artists and professional artists who are members of the gallery.

What is the submission process?

Please see our submission page and download our application package.

Do you sell artwork?

If you are interested in purchasing one of the artworks on display, we will put you in touch with the artist. The Union Gallery does not sell art.

How is the Union Gallery funded?

We are very grateful for the assistance from Queen's University, Kingston Arts Council, City of Kingston, Queen's Alma Mater Society, Cultural Studies at Queen's University, and Queen's Society of Graduate and Professional Students.
