Keely Dobranski, Drop, Imact, Dispursion, Ripple, mixed media 2014
In this series of sculpture and print media works, Dobranski examines the progression of a raindrop as it hits a surface. Through her use of geometric forms, patterns and light she creates a contemplative space filled with translucent floor sculptures and a large woodcut print, a space where the viewer can considerthe relationship between naturally occurring organic forms and manufactured objects.
