Neologary

Language is organic, it changes and grows, words are born and words die. William Shakespeare is said to have created almost two thousand words, many of which we still use today. The Neologary, a new word dictionary, is your opportunity to create new words or give new meaning to the obsolete words provided.

Rebecca Soudant grew up at Echo Lake, north of Kingston. She received a BFA degree from Queen's University and later became a full-time Visual Arts teacher at Smiths Falls Collegiate Institute. She is a resident of the Artel, an artist residence and arts venue. She is also a member of the Made 4 You collective, a local store that aims to reinforce the ecological and social value of locally produced goods.

Paul Reynolds' primary creative field is sound and music, having worked as a deejay, event promoter and studio producer for 14 years. Throughout that time he has done related graphic and web design and recently has begun to show visual work in gallery space.
